Collaborative Law / Mediation

The objective of engaging in Collaborative Law is to make the divorce experience less traumatic and more congenial for all parties involved. It is an opportunity for people going through a divorce to work with each other, with their attorneys, and oftentimes with collateral experts, to resolve their divorce cases without having to go to court. Whereas Collaborative Law involves attorneys working in a collaborative fashion with their respective clients, Mediation typically involves the use of one attorney who acts as an advisor to both parties to help the parties resolve their matrimonial issues.
